Techie Rhian likes it personal

Nestor Cuartero

Just a thought: One loyal friend is worth a thousand relatives. – Euripides

Techie and Talented: Behind the lovely face and talented actress behind leading roles in the teleseryes “Ilumina” and before that, “La Lola” is a genuine techie.
But, who cares about Rhian Ramos being more technologically advanced than her peers? People seem to be more interested about her love life, her supposed dalliance with a more senior partner, Mo Twister.
Rhian has gone as far as confessing the controversial DJ Mo has been courting her. Indeed, and that they’ve been going out on dates. She stopped short of admitting, however, that they have become steadies. Is that how young people still call themselves when they accept someone’s proposition to become boyfriend/girlfriend?

The other day, I learned a new thing from one of my students. He said that courtship in this day and age has traversed the net and various other technology. Courting someone is now being done either by text or chat.

CONVERSATIONS PREFERRED: Being highly techie, could it be possible that Rhian entertains suitors as well on the net or through her Blackberry? The young actress says she may be techie and advanced, but she prefers private personal conversations over other, more modern forms of communication where courtship is concerned.
Rhian is the face of PLDT MyDSL’s newest innovation, the combination Modem and Wifi in one, which sells for only P2,200.
The Wifi router and modem rolled into one sleek service runs on plug-and-play and does not require complicated set-ups or configurations.
Gary Dujali of PLDT explains that the modem may look small and sleek, but it’s powerful enough to cover one’s entire home.
